Understanding how we form beliefs—and how we can better understand each other.

Sharing Perspective is a practice-based project that gives people the chance to share their perspectives about topics they care about without having to debate.

Through structured, reflective conversation, we invite individuals to examine not only what they believe, but how confident they are that their belief accurately reflects reality, given how it was formed.

The focus is on increasing awareness of belief-forming processes and epistemic confidence—not on persuasion, debate, agreement, or determining correctness. Misunderstanding is treated as a shared human challenge rather than a personal failure.

What's your perspective on...

A simple process for meaningful reflection

1

Book a Conversation

Schedule a time that works for you. Conversations are structured but relaxed, designed to create space for genuine reflection without pressure.

2

Explore Your Beliefs

Through guided questions, you'll examine not just what you believe, but how you came to believe it—including the role of experience, values, and information.

3

Gain Clarity

Walk away with a clearer understanding of your own perspective and the processes that shape it. No judgment, no debate—just insight.

What guides this work

Understanding Over Agreement

The goal isn't to change your mind or reach consensus. It's to help you understand how you form beliefs and to accurately understand others' perspectives.

Awareness Over Judgment

We focus on making belief-formation processes visible rather than evaluating whether beliefs are "right" or "wrong." Accuracy is about self-calibration.

Curiosity Over Certainty

Uncertainty isn't a weakness—it's an opportunity for growth. We explore the conditions under which beliefs might feel more or less reliable.

Connection Over Division

Misunderstanding is a shared human challenge. By making our thinking visible, we reduce barriers and create space for genuine connection.
